i'm back after so long... started my attachment on monday. it was nerve wrecking!!! the lady boss was initially unfriendly but i later realised that she wasn't. probably its her way of communicating to us.. she doesn't really smile. however, overall she seems nice. (:

attachment made me realised that schooling is still the best! working is so so tiring.. wake up early, come home late. somehow getting used to it already. first 2 days was boring.. was measuring the quantity of a 5 storey industrial building! and its huge!! caroline and i had to measure the floor finishes which took like forever to finish. however on the third day, lady boss gave us another project to do instead cos its urgent. so the 5 storey building was put on hold at the moment. the project she gave us was on the southern part of sentosa island. i had to measure the building materials for a small shelter while caroline took another structure. and we managed to finish it today! (: theres tis sense of achievement! yay! we are continuing on the same sentosa project and i'll be focusing on the tram parking area. working is getting interesting!

i've been spending some quiet time with God on the train, on my way to work each morning. using the daily devotion booklet on lent. (:

and today, as i was chatting with caroline while working, she suddenly mentioned death. she said that her life now is very peaceful and happy. she continued saying that she don't mind dying now if death came knocking at her door. i had this urge to ask her where would she think she would go if she died, would she go to heaven or hell. and i really did asked her! and i managed to tell her more bout Christ! and that is only through Christ that we would have eternal life. and how God sent His Son, Jesus to die for our sins.

i didnt expect myself to share this to my non christian friends as i'm always rather shy and scared to talk bout religion and stuff and am afraid it would affect our friendship. but i did it! thank you Lord for giving me this courage and the right time to share the gospel. (: at least she gave me the chance to share though she still doesn't believe. i pray that one day she would come to know the Lord. amen! (: heh.
